eyecaps/chopyshed

my ballpython has shaded 2times and both have been choppy instead of one complete shed it shaded in about 30pieces and the eyecaps remain still on the eye i have put him in a homemade humidifier and raped him in a warm towel and misted him down ever other day but he still keeps his eyecaps and has a choppy shed

ED, my first suggestion is that you quit "raping" your python in a towel or anywhere else.  That could get you in trouble!!!   LOL

Ecdysis (shedding) is under hormonal control so perhaps there is an endocrine problem of some sort...  But what can you do about it?  Probably nothing.  The eye caps need to come off, use warm compresses and tweezers and be VERY careful.  Continue with the increase in humdity and check your temps to make sure it's warm enough in the cage.
