hey its liam again..i was wondering how i can tell whether or not my leopard gecko is drinking water... thanks

Hi Liam,
It really is almost impossible to tell unless you actually see him drinking.  What I try to do is change the water in my leos dish when she is out..  sometimes the pouring of the water will draw her to the water dish and she will drink.  Another good way is to mist a small area of the glass on the tank or a plant (real or fake) that you have in the tank. Do this when your leo is out as they will lick at the drops.  Also, very lightly misting them so they lick their mouth.
Many people place an air stone(like for a fish tank) in the water bowl.  Of course you need the pump to make the air stone work, but the bubble attract the leo.  You do have to be careful using this method though so it doesn't add too much humidity to the tank. You can also just touch their mouth with your finger(if your leo isn't a biter) that you have dipped in water...using an eye dropper is much safer...only one tiny drop at a time though!!!
