Question
I will be moving from Texas to Georgia in January 2007. During the summer, however, I will be coming back to Texas for 3 months. Then, back to Georgia.  I have my leo gecko in a 30 or 40 gallon tank on a stand. I am trying to think of the best way to get her from point A to point B and back.  I will probably be driving each time, but I don't know how to maintain a heated environment during the drive!  Any thoughts or ideas?

Answer
Hello, firstly get a ten gallon tank no real need for a cover since you will only want a simple hiding place in there with her for the trip anyway. You can use a combination of hot water bottles and heat packs.. you know the ones you rip open and put in your pocket to keep your hands warm? those work great thou you will want to be sure she can not get into the bag itself or lay directly onto it so you'll need some ideas on where and how to place in on or in the tank to heat her during the trips. these heat packs last anywhere from 16 to 60 hours it depends which ones you buy.
