QuestionQUESTION: Yes, when I have just the 150 watt infrared heat glo bulb on (Right side of tank) The left side of the tank reads about 78.
ANSWER: Ok-so what is the temp on the basking branch where you Beardie will bask with just the 150 watt infared light and the UV tube?
78 on the cool side is OK-it will drop at night when you turn all of the lights off
They need to be much cooler at night when they sleep
let me know and I will get back to you

QUESTION: Well, actualy I keep the infrared on all day/night so one side of the tank is always hot, I'm afraid to turn it off at night.
I just turned off all lamps, and both sides are about 70. So at night time it should be 70, but drop a little more since it's actual night time, and the room temp drops aswell
But yeah, the branch temperature with just the 150 watt infrared heat glo, with the repti glo 10.0 is about 95 on average

DON'T BE
THEY WILL GET SICK IF THEY DO NOT COOL DOWN AT NIGHT

THEY CAN STAND HIGH 50'S TEMPS AT NIGHT

IF THERE IS NP WITH YOUR BEARDIE EATING -IF HE DOESN'T CHANGE HIS BEHAVIOR/HABITS-THAT TEMP WILL BE FINE
COOLER IS BETTER AT NIGHT
OVERALL AIR TEMPS SHOULD NEVER BE 95 TO 100 EXCEPT UNDER THE BASKING LIGHT
PLEASE FORGIVE THE CAPS BUT I WANTED TO REPLY TO EACH PART OF YOUR MESSAGE AND I WANTED IT TO LOOK DIFFERENTLY FROM WHAT YOU HAD TYPED

QUESTION: Oh, really? Damn, I never knew they could go that low in heat at night time, but yeah. Ummm. What about their UVA rays, I have the repti glo 10.0 on all day, but that's for uvb.
I have a 100 watt(Currently in use), and a 75 watt sun glo for uva rays. Also, if I don't need it, could I/ Should I use my spare 75 watt moonlight night glo?
Also, thanks for your help. And if possible (Your choice) Could you leave me an e-mail adress, or e-mail it to me, So that I can keep in touch with you and get some more help if needed, since there's a limit to how many replies I can make here, and so that I don't have to keep asking questions and starting more topics.
Thanks

AnswerHi Leighton-
you will need to experiment with moving the different wattage lights closer to or further away from the basking branches to get the perfect temp for basking
All other temps in the tank can be much lower with the coolest temp on the other side of the tank away from the spot bulb
Hope This Helps
