Bearded Dragon Prolapse

Question
Hi there,
My bearded dragon had a prolapse and I took her to the vet and they put it back in and put a couple stitches in it. She is on antibiotics and pain medication (Meloxicam & Cefotaxime). She is drinking good, but she won't eat anything. She is peeing blood right now. Do you have any advice on how to care for her or anything that could help me? please!
Thanks,
Aleesha

Answer
If she is bleeding from the cloaca, get her back to the vet right away. Keep her off any particulate substrate, better to lett her rest in her carrier nestled in a clean towel. If you have a 24 hour emergency vet in the area you live, take her now, if not, get her in first thing in the morning.
