Question
i have a 2yr old bearded dragon in a 55 gallon tank with  carpet 99 degrees. i just notice sometimes that one of his back legs shakes not all the time. at least 3 times a week. what do you think? also i have a new bearded dragon and my 2yr old is not happy about it they are in seperates cages, but every now and then if he sees him he turns all black and moves his head up in down and his hand.

Answer
The bobbing, bearding and arm waving are all natural "conversation"  He is telling the new dragon that this is his territory and he better not muscle in.  The arm waving sometimes is used as a peace gesture.  You may want to move the cages so they can't see each other.  Shaking legs can be a sign of calcium deficiency, so make sure they are getting dusted crickets and a fresh new UVB source.  UVB lights should be changed every 6 months regardless if they are still emitting light.  The ability to produce usable UVB decays long before the light goes.  Get a Reptisun 10.0 LINEAR fluorescent tube, as coils and compacts cause eye damage in reptiles.
