QuestionHello,
My name is Delia and I really need help. Just yesterday, i found my african dwarf frog floating and she was not underwater. I thought it was probably getting air, but the today, I went to take a look at her and she is still floating. I put her in my hands, and it seems like her belly is inflated with air. She doesn't look too good either. She isn't moving, but when i tap on the glass of the aqaurium, she moves so i know she isn't dead. But I do no want her to die! She doesn't want to eat either.
Please help me!
Sincerely,
Delia
AnswerHello Delia:
I would rather take a beating then have you loose a friend but I have no way of answering your question honestly! I don't know how old he is or what he has been eating and a host of other questions. Also I am not a vet.
Frogs live for 3 to 10 years average depending on species. I wish I could help and if you think of a way, I'll do it. Thats the worse thing about having a friend, sometimes you loose them. Keep a happy thought and call a local vet that knows something about frogs, maybe he can help.
Be brave and write back if you need me OK
Best of luck
Joel
