pusy rectum discharge

I just bought a Ball Python from a pet store near my home and have had it for about a week now. I noticed over the weekend that it's rectum it huge and has pusy and clear stuff coming out of it and it refuses to eat! WHAT DO I DO?? I am at a loss here and need to know it there is something I can try at home before I take him to the vet because the closest vet that sees reptiles is 30 minutes away and they want $90 just for the office visit!! PLEASE HELP!! Thank you for your time!

Return it to the pet store.  If they refuse to take it back simply stand in the middle of the store and say the following in a loud clear voise everytime someone walks, "The animal I bought here less than a week ago will not eat and has pus flowing out of it's anus but they won't take it back!"  If that doesn't work make a sign saying, "Welcome to pusy buttholes-r-us," and walk back and forth in front of their door.  

I can't diagnose what's wrong based on what you've told me so you'll need to get them to help you out or spend the money on a vet.
