Question
Dear Vision Hills or Kim~
I have a couple more questions for you.
1. My bunny (who we found out is not a she, but a he AKA: Aesop) likes to push things underneath of him. Ex: His plastic toy food dish, or his empty toilet paper roll. Is this a sign that we need to get him "fixed"?
2. Do bunnies like to be covered up when it's time to go to bed? He seems to be quieter when I do.

Answer
If your rabbit is, well, humping the items he puts underneath him, then yes.  Male rabbits generally hit this age at 4 - 6 months.  If you don't have them neutered, they tend to spray (which is very messy to clean up), and they get frustrated because their hormones tell them to mate all the time.  You can find some good information on that at http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/spay-neuter.html

I've never tried to cover up a rabbit, so I can't answer that.  Certainly they like to feel enclosed and safe, maybe that is what he is feeling if you cover up the cage.
