How to trim rabbits teeth?

Question
Hi, I want to trim my bunny's teeth.  Paying my vet $71 a every month to get them trimmed is too expensive for me.  I want to keep my bunny but I'll have to trim his teeth myself.  My vet uses special clippers, but I've read clippers are dangerous since they can fracture the tooth.  I think the best and least painful for my bunny would be to file down my bunny's teeth with a speical file.  I've read that some vets use dental burrs or dremels (which is way too loud for my bunny).  I'm wondering if you know of any special tool I could use to file my bunny's teeth down.  Where to buy one would be helpful too.  Please help.  Thanks!

Answer
Hi,
The first thing I should ask is, Does your bunny have Malocculusion ( Wolf) teeth? This is a genetic disorder in which the teeth grow to abnormal lenths, and effect eating and such in the bunnies. If so, I am not 100% on a tool to do this with. Maybe a file. I would use what your vet uses to trim them with if at all possible. If you take the bunny to the vet often to get the teeth trimmed, then he will be used to the noise/sound the tool is that she/or he uses on the bunny.
As for just trimming normal teeth, if they are not wolf teeth, then I just give my bunnies lots of wood chews to help keep their teeth worn down.
Hope this helps, and sorry if i wasn't helpful enough.
