QuestionHi
I have had my bunny for about a year and I just want to know what she mean's when she grunt's in her throat. She is outdoors and eats well but I can never catch her in time to let her outside; I think I don't pick her up the right way.
AnswerDear Hannah,
If she whimpers/grunts when you approach, she is likely warning you away, and wants to be left alone. Whimpering/cowering can also mean that she's having a false pregnancy, which means it's time for her to be spayed:

You can find a good vet here to help you:

For good instructions on how to properly hold and pick up your rabbit, please see:

Hope this helps!
