Question
we found a baby rabbit dragging its self off the side of the road and its back legs a not working and appear to be a little flat. He is eatting very well and is very calm and is very strong with his front legs. Is it possible to keep him here and alive? and do u have any adive on what we could do with him? Putting him down is the last resort for us. We are willing to do a lot for him.

Answer
Dear Jessica,

Thank you for your kindness in rescuing the bunny.  It is likely that he suffered a traumatic injury from a predator or other source, and may have a broken spine or pelvis.

If he is eating well, that's a good sign.  However, if he cannot defecate or urinate on his own, then there is a serious problem that might not resolve.  A good rabbit vet:

can take radiographs to determine the extent of the injury, and determine whether the bunny can poop and pee on his own.  If he can, then he could live a happy life with a bit of care and spoiling from you.  We have several bunnies who cannot walk or use their hind limbs, but by letting them live on special fleece from PalacePet.com (excellent bedding!), they can be comfortable and avoid bed sores.

I hope this helps get you started.  Please write back if you have any additional questions.
