lifespan of unspayed rabbit

hi andrea, i want to ask a question regarding the lifespan of my rabbit that abuot 5+ im not sure how old cause when i got her i forgot to ask about the age. since shes at this age i wasn't sure about getting her spayed.

If you get her spayed, you still improve her chances of living a long life due to the fact that you remove any chance of her getting any reproductive cancers.  Rabbits can live to be 8-12 years old, so your girl may have quite a long life ahead of her yet.

You'll want a rabbit experienced vet to do the procedure.  The vet may do a do a full checkup including blood work to double check that there aren't any health problems.  But if there are no health problems and you have a good vet, you should be able to get her safely spayed.
