Answer
Hi Brynie

There is usually no way to tell if your doe is pregnant other than to wait.  She won't usually make a nest until right before she has the kits.  If she didn't growl before and she was nice before then that is a good indicator that she could possibly be pregnant.  However there is no conclusive way to tell.

The best thing to do is to put the nest box in at 28 days, no sooner or she may use it as a litter box and you don't want a dirty nest box.  If after 34 days she hasn't had babies then you probably aren't going to get any.  If after 35 days there are no babies then take the nest box out and re-breed her.

Occasionally a rabbit with a large litter will get very fat but not until around the 30th day.  These bunnies will lay around a lot and you can just tell that they are acting different.  Other times you will not be able to tell at all and then one morning when you are just about to give up you will wake up and find a nest box full of babies.

Good luck and if you have any further questions please let me know.
