Question
We have a male 6 month old Flemish Giant that suddenly has a bloody nose today.  Any particular concerns?

Answer
Dear Brandon,

If this was caused by trauma, you will want to have a vet take a look to be sure he hasn't broken any teeth or bones.  If there was enough of a strike to make him bleed, he should be fully examined by a good rabbit vet:

www.rabbit.org/vets

If you are in the UK or Europe, and the bunny is showing signs of lethargy, inappetence and general malaise, and is *not* vaccinated against VHD (Viral Hemorrhagic Disease), this could be a concern.

In any case, a trip to the vet is warranted, to be sure all is well.

I hope this helps.
