My bunnies have fleas

Question
Hi,

I recently had an indoor cat that kept sneaking outside. Anyhow, he got fleas. I bombed my apartment and treated him, but what I didn't realize is that he gave them to my other bunny. I have since added another bunny and now they both have them. I've heard that I can treat fleas with selamectin or Revolution), but I don't know how much to treat them with.  Can you help me?

Answer
Hi Angela

As long as you know for sure they have fleas all you have to do is put one or 2 drops of the medication on the back of their neck, just like you would a dog.

If you aren't 100% sure they have flea's it is dangerous to treat them because they can develop a resistance and then someday if they do get them the medicine might work.

I hope the little one's are ok.
