Question
I have a wild rabbbitt that i rescued from dogs. Has nurtured it, it is now 6 1/2  months old. Just 2 days ago it started not eating and laying around, I took it to the vet today, he checked it  out and could not give me a reason why it should be acting sick. I dissolved some of her pellets in water and forced her to eat, she still acts like she isnt feeling well at all. SO sad what could be the problem and what do i need to do to spunk her back up. Her diet consisted of pellets, lettuce oatmeal, raisins, treats, and apple. what am i doing wrong.

Answer
Well, I'm not sure how much help I'll be.  Wild rabbits are different then domestic rabbits.  In many states, it's illegal for people who aren't licensed rehabilitators to keep wildlife.  And in some states, regular vets aren't even allowed to look at wildlife.

So, this is something I just don't know much about.  You can try these sites, and see if you can make contact with a wildlife rehabilitator who can give you some information on what you can do for him:

this site has a hotline phone number:

sorry, I couldn't be much more of a help
