hello and thanks for your tie,earlier this morning i was cleaning out my rabbit in the front room(it lives inside in ahutch)and i usually put him on top of it why i clean him,anyway halfway through he tried to come to me and missed and landed on the laminate floor,now he is unable to move either his hind leg or both hind legs,hes still himself in a way,like his fusses and drinking water and trying to chew things,eg his towel we wrapped round him,but he just likes drags his bum when he tries to walk. anyway i had alook at his back paws and they still move a little bit.rung a vet but they have nothing till tomorrow,so any help would be appreciated thankyou ever so much,clint.ps the rabbits a netherland dwarf,and its about 8 month old.thanx again

Dear Clint,

If you fell and were then unable to move your legs, you would be in the emergency room within the hour.  It should be no different for your rabbit.  Please find a good vet here:

and get him there NOW.  The sooner a traumatic injury like this is treated, the better his chances for full recovery.  His back or pelvis could be broken, and leaving him without medical care after such an injury could result in his permanent loss of movement or even his death.
