Is grass ok for bunny bedding?

Can freshly cut grass be used instead of wood shavings or straw?

Dear Janine,

Fresh grass will quickly get moldy.  I would not recommend it as bedding unless you can dry it thoroughly, as you would with hay.

Soft timothy hay is good bedding.  Wood shavings are definitely NOT healthy.  Please see:
