HELP my baby bunny is sick

i have two young bunnies they are sisters' and share a cage they are about 7 months old and both got accidently pregnant they had there baby 7 days ago 1 had 8 the other 6 and now 1 is really sick it belongs to the bigger litter

the baby bunny is really bloated and cold its stomach is huge and really hard i foned it away from the nest belly up..........

all the other baby bunnies look fine they are warm and well fed ........................

please help me as soon as possible thankyou so much

Dear Liz,

I am sorry about this bad situation.  From the sound of it, I doubt very much that the baby survived.  It is most likely that it suffered from a congenital malformation that resulted in a fatal bloat, and not even a veterinarian might have been able to help.

In any case, when you see something like this, the internet is not the place to seek help, since it will rarely come in time to save a life.  You need to take such an obvious emergency case to a good rabbit veterinarian:

I doubt very much from your description that the baby could have been saved, but his only chance would be immediate veterinary attention.
