My bunny is bloated.. likely from over-eating alfalfa.. what do I do??

Question
Hello i am panicking, i got my bunny only three days ago, he is probably around 3 or 4 weeks old.
I got him alfalfa to eat on the second day, he seemed to really like it so i gave him like about half a cup before i went to sleep, and a little bit of pellets.
I noticed his belly got bigger this morning.. but i thought he just ate too much. So I left the house and came back late at night and he is "fatter"! I knew there was something wrong.. his stomach is abnormal and seems bloated! I didn't know why. I did tons of research on the internet, and seems to get that alfalfa may be fatal for lop bunnies is fed too much. I am really scared, I don't want him to die...
I can't take him to the vet since it is 4:00 in the morning, I tried to rub his belly and put him on his left side. It doesn't seem to help.
What is the best I should I do??

Answer
Hi, I am sorry I haven't been here, my vacation dates were screwed up.

Always when something like this occurs, it's a good thing to get them to the vet right away.

When giving new food, you have to introduce it in small amounts.  You can't give a ton of new stuff right away, the gut bacteria need time to adjust.  A couple weeks at least.

Baby gas drops need to be in your kit and you need to be able to give him a couple droppers full, with tummy massage.  Especially if you can't get to a vet.  If you can get him to drink a dropper or two of water that would be good too, as he will be getting dehydrated.
