Question
i have two rabbits floppsy and dusty and they are HUGE! they are about 5 years old and i would have liked to bred them but people say they arte too old. Is this true. Also, because they are so big i was told that they will die soon and my dad says that i cant get a new one when they do. i absolutely LOVE rabbits and my cousin breeds them sucsessfully which i would love to do but my Mum and Dad dont really like animals and wont let me. Also One of them, Dusty is SOO agressive and i cant stop her from biting and scratching, she hates to be held! I have tried to hold her down and tap her nose , but she hates me now. i am very gentle but they both wont come out of their hutch to see me and try and avoid me. i think that they are too old to become tame with me as they are set in  their ways. PLEASE HELP!

Answer
hi jenifer-they are to old to breed now but they could live a few more years yet -some die early and some last for 10 years.
i'm afraid they are set in there ways now and it will be virtually impossible to cure them of being aggressive just be calm with them and they may mellow a bit as they get older. bribe them with tit bits and see if they respond .
