I was wondering when I can have contact with my rahnna. She gave birth to 5 beauties 12 days ago. I was told to leave her alone by previous owner cause she killed first litter. She comes out when I call her. I just worry bout how dirty it is in there and I really need to get her nails done. When can I have contact with her and her babies without setting harm to any of them?

Hi,

You really need to check them now. If the mother is overly aggressive you can remove the mom from the cage while you check them. You need to make sure all of their eyes have opened on their own and also check for any dead kits in the nest.
