dwarf pig?

Question
I have a male pig-from a very small pot-bellied pig pair. He was the only one in a litter of 6 all healthy-and black, that came white skin, long hair and dalmation-like spots, he is noww 11mos old and is 11 1/2" high and 15" long.  He has a heart-shaped face, no jowls or the crunched up face & looks more like a very small wharthog.  Ive been told he is a dwarf pig, have you heard of this--& new with pot-bellies, etc.

Answer
White pot-bellied pigs usually have black on the face and rump, and sometimes large markings on the body, too. Pigs with the "dalmation" spots are not as common, but very pretty. There used to be pictures of one named Grunther at www.schnoidz.com, but the site seems to be down now.

Pigs can have babies when they are as young as 3 or 4 months old, but they continue to grow until they are 4 years old. Your pig may stay on the small side. But at less than a year old, it's still too soon to say for sure how big, or small, he will be when he reaches full adulthood.
