bleeding foot

Question
My pet rat hurt his foot somehow. I think his toenail's been ripped out. It's bleeding and he's limping. What do I do to get the bleeding to stop??

Answer
You need to apply pressure on it for at least 5 minutes and also take regular flour and pack flour on it too. This helps it clot.

The nail bed is very vascular and in fact this is one way we get blood samples from rats.

Apply neosporin to it too and keep him busy for a bit so it absorbs in.

Let me know how it goes in a few mins. I will check back.
