hello  i was wondering could u please answer me this qustion why is there alot of animail crultey in the world

 I don't think it's really a question anyone can answer truthfully but I can give you my opinion.

 Humans, as a species, are generally a cruel animal and since our society prohibits cruelty to other humans many people tend to take out their sadistic tendencies on helpless animals.  Many humans see animals as of lower importance, not as 'smart' or 'worthy' as people, so it's 'okay' to hurt them.

 As a veterinary assistant I've seen a lot of senseless cruelty.  A lot of it isn't really intentionally done to hurt the animal, just as a result of neglect.  People don't care about remembering to check their dog's food, or they only want a dog to guard their yard and let it stay out in the hot sun or cold winter on a chain with a food and water dish buzzing with flies (if there is any food at all).  Some people buy an animal and get bored of it, releasing it into the wild or neglecting it until it dies.  Then there are the animal hoarders which keep getting more and more animals until they don't have the time or money to care for them all, letting their house turn filthy as the animals suffer.

 Then there's the people who think hurting animals is 'fun', like tying a firecracker to a cat's tail or pouring gasoline on an animal and setting it on fire.  These people usually are budding sociopaths or have some mental problems themselves.
