rat discharge

QUESTION: I have a 1 1/2 year old male dumbo rat.  There is a discharge that appears to be pale pink.  I can't tell where it's coming from but it's there every day.  He seems healthy, has a very good appetite and energy.

ANSWER: discharge from where? "rat discharge" doesn't tell me anything. Is it from his eyes, ears, nose, mouth, rectum, penis...?

QUESTION: i can't tell where the discharge is coming froml there is no evidence on his body but the pale pink discharge is on bedding every day.

Well.. as long as his personality hasn't changed, I wouldn't worry about it. It could just be some mucus from him sneezing on occasion.. which is fairly normal. If its large amounts, dark red, or you can find a wound somewhere - worry. Otherwise, don't stress over it, he's probably fine.
