Can male rats get along together

Question
I am getting ready to purchase two rats and they are both males.  Do males get along better together than females? I had a rat in the past but just had one and I want them to be friends to each other.  Please help.

It really depends on the individual; but honestly I've had male pairs be just as sweet and kissy with each other as female pairs. They all have their hormonal input (males with their testosterone as soon as they hit puberty, females with the WAAAYYY too much estrogen input); but usually its fleeting and with males can be quickly and easily corrected. So: do they get along fine in pairs? yes. Better than a female pair? Depends on the pair. Sorry for a not-so-cut and dry answer.
