Megacolon due to testicular problem?

My 9 week old white and black rat has what appears to be megacolon. Is it possible that the fact that his testicles have not dropped could have something to do with this? Could his testes be getting bigger inside him and causing the blockage? His brother seems to have huge ones (on the outside) and has grown much bigger than him. We would like to save him, as he is a sweet little fellow.

Undescended testicles would not be linked to megacolon.

WHat symptoms is your rat displaying that leads you to believe he may have megacolon?  Whaat diet is he on daily and also, how long have you had them and where did you get them from?

Hang in there...we will try to resolve this. Meanwhile, do you have a vet for your rats?
