Rat chewing paw

My rat Zoey has been chewing her paw and now there's no more fur on it, and now there's a big scab on it! maybe she's stressed? she has a good cage, a cage mate and gets ut of the cage daily, she's a spazy rat though. hope this is enough info! bye

This is called barbering.  Its usually a behavior thing and there is not always a cure.  Keeping her busy, making sure she has toys in her cage etc...is about all you can do.  Be sure to rub her paw with some antibiotic ointment to keep infection from starting. It wont hurt if she licks it so dont worry.
