Question
our baby rat is about 42 days old and his top teeth are very very long they are curving back into his mouth. is this normal do they loss baby teeth or does he need them trimmed

Answer
No, they should not do that and they also do not lose any teeth. They only get one set of teeth their whole life.  You   need to see a vet to have them clipped. Do not attempt to do it yourself as you can accidentally clip her tongue and she could bleed profusely. You must see a vet that knows how to care for rats. If you need one, please let me know your location and I will give you some names.
