Camera Flash

Question
I recently got me a couple pet rats and im really exited and happy with it. I want to show all my friends so i want to take pictutes with it. Sadly I dont think i can turn off my phones flash. Ive taken a couple pictures (that came out really bad :(
but i think it might be scaring my rats. Will it stun or injure them?
They kinda stare at me for a while then go back to playing so im a little worried i would hurt them

Hi Nikki,
I've done some research about this, ( I use non-flashes so I haven't really thought of that!)and, it makes sense that it does hurt their eyes and does stun them a little. If you can try to find a camera (Doesn't have to be expensive maybe one of those box cameras) you can take pictures. If you really can't resist it every once in a while won't hurt!
