how can i distiguish between a male and female green parrot?

Answer
It would depend on the species (Amazon, Macaw, etc?)

Some can only be distinguished by DNA testing, or when they first lay an egg (which pretty much guarentees it's a girl)

Other species are dimorphic - meaning you can tell by looking. Eclectus for example - the green ones are males; the red/purple ones are the females.
