ROSIE BOURKE PARROTT

Question
I have a female rosie bourke parrott she is about 3 years old.  Recently I moved her to another avery where a male budgie had just lost his wife.  She has laid 4 eggs and the male budgie and her are sitting on them, feeding each other, very very lovey dovey.  Is it possible the eggs are fertilised, they have both been in the nest together, but I haven't seen any mating.  Is it possible for a different breed to mate with each other?  I would love you to email me back and let me know, the male budgie is green & yellow and of course the rosie bourke is pink, would be nice looking birds if they crossed, but don't know if it is possible.

Many thanks
Diane

Answer
Hello Diane and thank you for your post.
While it is certainly possible, it is unlikely that the two have bread.
The way that describe the two of them is very cute, though (I can almost picture this).
Please let me know if anything does come of this.

Good luck and God Bless.
