Noisy and quiet parrots

I am interested in buying a parrot because they can talk. But I have also heard that they are messy eaters. Do you know a species of parrot that isn't a messy eater?

Hello, I'm afraid all the parrot species are very messy. They throw their food all over the floor and walls plus they will poo everywhere. If you can't handle mess and everything in your house being chewed up or broken then maybe a parrot isn't for you! Just another thought, getting something that can live 50 years or more because it MAY talk isn't really the most responsible thing to do. Think of the animal's welfare. Would you still care for it if it never talked, if it had behavioural problems and in 40 or 50 years time will you still want a parrot? These are important things to consider before getting a parrot as well as the cost of things like proper avian diet and vets bills.
