Military Macaw Afraid of Orange and Red

Question
I have a Military Macaw about 12 yrs old that I have owned for about 5 years.  She is a one person bird as I've read most Military Macaws are.  It seems like she is afraid of things that are orange or red in color.  I first discovered this when carrying an orange extension cord in from the garage and past her cage.  She also freaked out when I carried a small red cooler by her cage.  Since then I have tried to keep these items out of her sight but sometimes I forget.  When she sees items that are either orange or red she starts squawking very loud and flaps violently in her cage.  Is it possible that she is really afraid of things that are orange or red?

Yes, she could be afraid of the colors for some reason.  They may be colors that she just doesn't like.
I had ine bird that did not like blue or purple, but loved red or even green.
