i hav 1 big green parrot with read beak neapli parrot i think.i want to but a female for him but its expensive here.can i keep any other breeds, female birds with him?if yes which one?also he has small wings if i make him free to fly anywhere he likes to go wil he fly or not?can he find home easily?how do i know he needs female?last year he lost all his feathers and after few months all new feathers and now this year again he is losing some feathers.is this normal?

If you interact with your bird regularly, he doesn't need a female. You'll be all the company and joy he needs.

 It's never a good idea to leave a bird to fly free. There are predators and other dangers out there, plus in the home. Many things we might not think of, like flying into a pot on the stove, open flame, a window or many other things.

I believe what you're noticing with the feather loss and regrowth is normal moulting.
