senegal parrot

Question
i have just bought a senegal parrot from a pet shop. i don't know where to put him in a room. i was told from the shop keeper that i should put him in a quiet room which is my bedroom. he listens to us making noises at him, he feeds of our hand but we cannot get near him and today he is constantly screeching and other noises how do i help him to trust me and how can i touch him without biting. Which is the best room to put him in.

Unfortunately many pet shops should keep their opinions about bird care to themselves.

Not all shops are experienced at much more than making sales and listening to marketing pitched by people stocking their shelves.

Some shops are very well educated
