QuestionHi Maggie thankyou for taking the time to help me I have had parrots for 28years thats how old my blue front is and I have 3other parrots a afrcian grey a yellow collar macaw and a blue crown conure. Two weeks ago I was given a 6year old severe macaw the couple bought boagie as a baby they recently adopted 2 children and gave me bogie. Here is what I need your help with please I have tried everything I know of to try.When I get up to leave the room to go to the bathroom,cook dust anything the minute I leave he starts screaming until I walk back into the room he gets so upset there is no calming him down unless I hold him I know thats is just reinforcing bad behavior but the poor thing is just scared Im going to leave him to,it is causing the other 4 birds to scream to please if you have any advice at all I sure could use some help. Oh and he doesnt'want my husband around me at all.
