Question
One of my degu's has over grown front upper teeth, i took her to a vet, but he didn't do anything about it. Now her teeth are very long. There are many things which she could chew on in the cage but she doesn't. I really don't know what to do.

Answer
It sounds like her teeth need to be trimmed, but to do that you need a vet to take them down initially, then they can show you how to keep them low.  Once the teeth get too long it can be too painful for them to chew on things.  Feed her softened food and make sure she is eating enough.
