Porphyrin

hi i have 2 rat boys and are about 1 month old, and yesterday i putted them outside but there was no draft, and one of them had red muccus in his nose i think its  Porphyrin what can i do to treat it?  i dont know what exactly what i have to  feed them i want to try to feed them home made foodcause i saw that guinea pig mixes are not good.

Hello Miren,
It sounds like your rat may be stressed and the best way to treat it is either finding out what the stress is and getting rid of the stress or taking your rat to a vet.
Also, as far as rat food goes I do not know any recipes but I truly think that a commercial rat diet is generally the best option for your rat.
