Mouse poop

I got my pet mouse about a week and a half ago and I've noticed that his poop has gotten pretty soft since I've had him. It's not diarrhea but it's not solid. I was wondering if it could be that he's on a different food then he was before I got him or if it could be something else. He's quite active so I don't think he's sick. He's been eating Martin's Mouse & Rat Ration but yesterday I switched him to Sunseed Vita Rat, Mouse & Gerbil Formula. I would appreciate any advise or help you could give me!

Hi Emily,

It can indeed be the food.

If it continues, get a probiotic and give him about 1/16 a capsule (divide 4 times) in soy yogurt every 3 days.

You can also get a probiotic product for pets called Bene-bac.

I hope he is better already :)
