Mice for Beginners (links)

Hi,
I have bought two little mice a couple of days ago and as it is my first time to have little mice for pets, I want to make sure I keep them clean, healthy and happy.
My question is, how often do I clean their home and change the food in their bowl?

The girl at the shop told me that I should clean it twice a week but she seemed to be saying that quite casually as there were too many people there at that moment and she was alone so I thought she may just be trying to get me to rush :o)

Hi Paula,

Very good idea to doubt the pet store attendants! They can make the stupidest mistakes.

Change the food when there isn't much left; clean the cage once a week if it is a 20 gallon (minimum for happy mice) and twice a month for 30 gallons or over.
