New mouse may be injured?

I recently bought a mouse.
After I got home I realized he has an extremely swollen foot. I can move it around and he can walk on it fine, but it's red. He eats and drinks, but he won't use his wheel and all he does is sleep. Is this serious?

The little guy should definitely go to the vet.  You should be able to find a good vet through one of these lists. You will have to call to see if they do mice.

Until then he should have a drop of infants' or children's liquid ibuprofen every four hours. It will help with pain and swelling.
