building small animal cage

We look after voles as well as you but need a new design for a cage. we need it really big because we have quite a lot.
right now we are keeping them in a rabbit pen with no rabbits in.
We need a good design please could you tell us a design or tell us yours, we have baby voles so we need you to design one that will last a long time.

Dear Mattie & Rosie,

Voles come in quite different sizes, so I don't know if you need something suitable for mice or more rat-sized voles.  A bunch of mice go great in a 30 gallon aquarium. Bigger voles would fit well in a wire rat cage.
