AnswerHello, no its not a good idea the humid invroment the crabs need and with there being water dishes in the cage the paints can wash off and poision the hermits, you genrally need two or more hermits are not solitary in there wild home and ussally live in groups of 100 or more. there are a pair of prple pincher hermit crbas someone on the net has had for 25 years and still going strong.
