piggy sneezing

our new guinne pig has started sneezing. she seems to eat allright and drinks fine. her stools seem regular and does not seem to be sleepy. we have three dogs, and she is the only piggy we have. is she sick? or maybe still adjusting to her new surroundings? we bought her from meijers about  two weeks ago. thx signed, kohl

Hello Chloe,

If it's just been a sneeze or 2, it's no big deal, probably just dust, but if the sneezing is frequent, she needs to see a vet. She may have a URI and they are deadly if not treated. The earlier it is caught the better her chances. Treatment is antibiotics. Good luck!
