Answer
Hi Britney,

Well, I realize you didn't really ask a question here, but I felt like I had to respond because I noticed that you said your gerbils keep their teeth filed down with their cedar.  I'm assuming you mean cedar bedding.  Many people put cedar bedding in their small animals' cages, not knowing that that is the worst kind of bedding you can put in a cage.  It's strongly scented, and it can easily give your gerbils a respiratory infection, and it can also harm your new babies.  Pine bedding is also dangerous.  To be safe, you should switch to Aspen bedding or Carefresh bedding as soon as possible.  And for their teeth, you can buy chew sticks specially made for small animals.  And, S.A.M. makes safe wooden houses without nails.  (Although, I believe they may make one with nails - it has a ramp attached to the main house with nails, so either choose another one or take off the ramp and the nails - I had to do this for my gerbils.)  Good luck with all of your animals, and if you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.  :)
