hey i was just wondering how can you tell if your hamster has a cold. also my hamster has got a little white line in the middle of his nose is this anything to worry about or is it just normal?

I'm really not sure about the white line you described.  I've never seen one on a hamster (unless you're talking about the separation between the hamster's nostrils, which is often light-colored).

Signs that a hamster has a cold are normally sneezing and runny nose. In more severe cases the hamster may have runny eyes, lethargy, weight loss, refusal to eat and drink or labored breathing/wheeziness.
