funny noises

My hamster is 3 years old, and latley has been sleeping alot, not running on her wheel, and making funny noises. My mom thinks it just a cold. WE tryed this liquid drink 4 her, it said its good 4 colds< but she didnt drink it. I was going to see if she would run in her ball (she always loves that! but i cant seem to find the lid.If u think that her running in her ball would help let me know! and is there any foods or drinks 4 me to give her? or just let her sleep?And my sister bought a hamster from the same litter, and he's fine!PLEASE HURRY B4 IT;S TOO LATE!

  It sounds like old age is setting in on your hamster. Sleeping more since she is older is a normal thing. The weird sounds could be a cold or just the hic-cups. I don't like to tell people this, but with your hamsters age little things like this should be looked after carefully. Sometimes this is nothing sometimes it mean that their time is coming. My best advice is to just keep an eye on your hamster and judge for yourself what it is. If I were you I would prepare myself for the hamsters leaving. It makes things a little bit easier when they go if you knew that it was coming, this way it is less of a shock.
